New Google Chrome OS Challenges Windows

Google had its own browser and operating system, Microsoft too; each one stated that its creation is the best ever, so which one is to win this race? It seems that Google is one step forward, at least if we talk about speedy movements. When it comes for the new Google Chrome's display, most analysts say that is a mixed copy between Microsoft and Apple's operating systems.

New Google Chrome OS Challenges Windows

As far as I could observe, the latest version Chrome includes a launcher taskbar very familiar. I wouldn't say it's copied from traditional Windows display, but it will remind you involuntarily of Windows 7 series' taskbar. Aura, since this is its name, replaces Chrome's tabs with a window manager, so users could be less restricted to a single interface. From my point of view, Aura sounds great and might be a hidden marketing strategy. Since all operating systems are masculine named (Windows, Safari), Aura brings a touch of femininity, so ladies will be probably the first ones to try this operating system.

Chrome OS is Google's bet for speed, simplicity and security against Windows 7 series. The operating system is presently sold on devices designed by Samsung. The latest version provides a familiar desktop interface, including a file structure instead of the classical web storage. Since the browser itself has recently become the most popular browser chosen by consumers, according to telegraph.co.uk, Google has speeded and tries to tempt the audience with Aura.

Among analysts, opinions are divided. Some greet the appearance of the friendliest, easiest or the most interactive operating system, while others complain on the fact that Chrome OS looks and behaves more like the operating system it should challenge.

Google Chrome OS was initially launched in 2010, providing a simple web browser window connecting the computer with apps and the required programs. The main idea of Google is that you don't need to spend money on a CD with a genuine operating system, when you could everything online. Quite attractive just hearing about it, but imagine that you can't possibly find a Wi-Fi hotspot where you are travelling and you can't even access your email.
